Atletico Madrid' have confirmed the team set to take on Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League knockout phase on Tuesday night.
Ordinarily, the match could have been staged at Atletico's fortress, the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, but will host Thomas Tuchel's Blues at the Arena Naţională in Bucharest, Romania due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
Playing on a neutral ground does not concern Simeone, at least going by his recent comments.
“I don’t think it’s important to give an opinion [on the venue] because the opinion we might say won’t influence on what the reality is," he said.
“We will prepare and enjoy what we have. To play anywhere, any time, the day they want. There is no problem.”
The coach has named his traveling team, with few first-team players missing.
Goalkeepers: Grbic, Oblak, San Roman
Defenders: Renan Lodi, Savic, Felipe, Hermoso, Alvaro G, Ricard
Midfielders: Kondogbia, Torreira, Koke, Saul, Lemar, M. Llorente, Vitolo
Forwards: Joao Felix, Suarez, Correa, Dembele, Camello
