Liverpool fans will be thrilled with the news that striker Diogo Jota returned to training with the rest of the team on Wednesday.
The Portuguese was snapped by the club training with the rest of the team in what will be a boost for a side that has struggled to get results this season due to a series of injuries.
Having joined the Reds from Wolves last summer, Jota took no time in introducing himself to the club’s faithful by scoring nine goals in 17 appearances but he is yet to feature for his side since December when he was injured in the Champions League draw with Midtjylland.
The player is set to miss the cub’s this weekend’s clash with bottom-placed Sheffield United but should be ready to return against Chelsea next week.
