English Premier League side Manchester City have set a new top-flight record following their win against Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
The result was City’s 12th successive away win in all competitions, moving them ahead of the previous record (also set by City between May and November 2017).
The Pep Guardiola side have now managed 19 consecutive victories in all competitions and are unbeaten in 26 games, with their last defeat coming at Tottenham in late November 2020; the Citizens only managing three draws in this period with the other 23 being wins.
In that period, they have scored 61 and conceded just seven with the form seeing them sitting pretty on top of the Premier League table with 59 points; ten points above second-placed Manchester United.
They return to action on Saturday where they are slated to take on high flying West Ham United at the Etihad.
