Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino believes Kylian Mbappe has the 'potential' to succeed Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Mbappe has been in fine form for PSG this season netting 18 goals in 23 Ligue 1 games and is the top scorer of the Ligue 1. Pochettinho believes the Frenchman is already among 'the best in the world' adding it is only a matter of 'time' before he 'gets the recognition he deserves' and to be named among the likes of Messi and Ronaldo.
"He lacks nothing but time. We cannot speed up the process. I think he's already among the best in the world," Poch said.
"It will take time for him to flesh out his CV, to get the recognition he deserves and will get."
The 22-year-old's future at Le Parc des Princes remains uncertain as he is yet to sign a contract extension with his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2022.
Spanish giants Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of Mbappe, while Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is also known to be an admirer of the PSG star.
