Another intriguing Premier League weekend has come and gone.

✅ Newcastle 1-1 Aston Villa

This was only the third instance in Premier League history of an away team scoring first as late as the 86th minute and not winning, after Birmingham at West Brom in October 2002 and Leicester at Watford in June 2020.

✅ Leeds 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea has conceded just two goals in their first 10 Premier League matches under Thomas Tuchel, equalling the top-flight record that they set under Jose Mourinho in 2004-05.

✅ Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom

This was Roy Hodgson's 12th Premier League win over a side he has previously managed, now the most of any manager.

✅ Everton 1-2 Burnley

Burnley has won at Everton and Liverpool in a single season for the first time, and are the third side to do so this term after Manchester City and Fulham.

✅ Fulham 0-2 Man City

Sergio Agüero has ended a run of 13 appearances, 641 minutes of play and 24 shots without scoring in the Premier League for Man City, with his penalty against Fulham his first goal since January 2020 v Sheff Utd, 417 days ago.

✅ Southampton 1-2 Brighton

Pascal Groß is the fourth German to record 20 assists in the Premier League, after Mesut Özil (54), Leroy Sané (28) and Dietmar Hamann (22).

✅ Leicester 5-0 Sheffield United

With two assists, Leicester’s Jamie Vardy became the sixth player to register 100+ goal involvements in the EPL after turning 30 years of age with 81 goals and 20 assists, joining Teddy Sheringham (127), Frank Lampard (118), Ian Wright (110), Alan Shearer (102) and Gianfranco Zola (101).

✅ Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham

Arsenal is unbeaten in their last 10 EPL home matches against Spurs (W6 D4), while Mikel Arteta is the third consecutive Gunners manager or head coach to win his first home north London derby, following Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery. 

✅ Man United 1-0 West Ham

Man United has kept four straight clean sheets in the EPL for the first time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, last doing so in January 2018 when Jose Mourinho was at the helm.
