Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri has signed a new long-term contract at the club.
This 18-year-old has been impressive for the youth teams ever since signing from Monaco in 2018.
The Paris-born youngster has impressed for Neil Wood’s side this season in Premier League 2, earning positive reviews from coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Indeed, Hannibal was set to make his senior debut in the Europa League just like Shola Shoretire, but a should injury ruled him out of the match.
"Hannibal is injured," Solskjaer said ahead of the Europa League tie against Real Sociedad. "Unfortunately, he got injured in the reserves so he'll be out for a month.
"So he was just coming into our squad and, unfortunately for him, he is out."
