English Premier League side Everton is eyeing an ambitious move to sign Napoli center back Kalidou Koulibaly.
Reports from talkSPORT claim that manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen on a reunion with the Senegalese who was heavily linked with a move to some of the best teams in Europe that included Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Real Madrid.
The player was valued at £89m last summer by his club but with the Italian side struggling financially, they are expected to lower the price for a player who has been with them for the last seven seasons.
Koulibaly and Ancelotti worked together during their time at Napoli with the Italian having had the tendency of working with his former players at Everton; the lot including Allan and James Rodrigues who have been key members for the Merseyside this season.
Koulibaly who turns 30 this summer has just two years remaining on his current contract having made 274 appearances in all competitions for the Italian side winning the Coppa Italia last season and being named in the Serie A Team of the Year on four occasions.
