Premier League duo of Crystal Palace and Newcastle United will fight it out for the services of Burnley manager Sean Dyche.
It is unclear if Palace boss Roy Hodgson will extend his stay at the club beyond this season when his contract expires with Newcastle willing to part ways with manage Steve Bruce due to a spate of poor results.
The Daily Mail reports that Burnley is already planning for life without Dyche with former Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder top of their target list. Apart from Burnely, Place is believed to be after Wilder with Eddie Howe and Frank Lampard among other names that have been linked with replacing Roy Hodgson.
According to the reports, Palace will not make a final decision on Hodgson until the closing weeks of the campaign, the process of finding a replacement has begun-though paying compensation of £3.5million to Burnley may prove a stumbling block.
