CAF’s AFCON 2021 concluded midweek with 24 nations sealing tickets to the tournament in February 2022 in Cameroon.
The event’s most inspiring results include Comoros making their first ever progress to the tournament, Malawi making a long return in 11 years, while Ethiopia confirmed a second consecutive qualification success in over 30 years.
In addition to the 24 qualified nations, individual players stood out for defining results by putting the ball in the back of the net - with Zambia's 22-year-old Patson Daka emerging at king.
