Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed Christian Pulisic picked a hamstring injury during their 5-2 loss at home to West Brom.
The USA international scored the opener midway through the first half but was substituted at half-time, paving way for Mason Mount.
Speaking after the match, Tuchel revealed the winger could not continue and had to be withdrawn.
"Christian did a sprint when he came back out for the second half and said that he felt his hamstring would not survive the game if he continued,"
"So we had to make the decision to substitute him straight away,"
The Blues are back in action on Wednesday with the first leg of our Champions League quarter-final against Porto.
