After impressing on loan at West Ham United, Manchester United legend Gary Neville claims his former club will want Jesse Lingard back at the end of the season.
Since being loaned out by Manchester United in January, the 28-year-old has scored six goals and added four assists in eight appearances for West Ham.
The England international scored the game's first goal in West Ham's 3-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night after dribbling past the Wolves defense for 60 yards.
Former Manchester United defender Neville praised Lingard after the game, telling Sky Sports News: "He's a really good player. He does an incredible amount of running. It's what he does. He's good out of possession and good in possession.
"Manchester United have sent him out to West Ham to boost his career, maybe with the thought of boosting his price tag, but they might be thinking, 'actually, we might want him back, he could be a real help to us'."
Lingard has played 210 games for the Red Devils, scoring 33 goals and registering 20 assists.
