Zidane coy on Juventus link

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has remained tight-lipped over rumors linking him with a move to Juventus.

Zidane enjoyed a stellar playing career with the Turin-based side with his former teammate Alessandro Del Piero having tipped him to manage the club one day.

In the aftermath of their win against Liverpool on Tuesday night, Zidane was asked if he fancied going back as a manager at Juventus.

“Italy is in my heart, I stayed for five years in Turin and Juventus is still important to me. I do not know if I will come back, we will see, I am here for now,” Zidane told Sky Sport.

Zidane played with the Bianconeri from 1996 to 2001, winning two Scudetti, one Champions League, and one Intercontinental Cup.

His excellent relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo has been one major reason why those close to the club feels that he would be a perfect match for the club; these rumors coming at a time when Andrea Pirlo is under immense pressure to perform at the team after being given the mantle in the summer.
