Harambee Stars played four matches in March, winning three; against South-Sudan and Tanzania, before a Cup of Nations qualifier triumph over Togo.
Stars settled for a 1-1 draw against Egypt in the other match, which moves them second in East African, behind Uganda.
The Cranes have howver slipped two places further after unimpressive performances, which saw them fail to qualify for teh Africa Cup of Nations.
Senegal remain the top-ranked team in Africa, followed by Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria, and Morocco, who are in position 26, 32, 33, and 34 respectively in the world.
