Laliga giants FC Barcelona are set to offer winger Ousmane Dembele a new deal once the season ends.
The player has less than 18 months remaining on his current contract and with rumors rife that Manchester United are willing to wait to get the player for free, Barca is thought to be doing all they can to keep hold of the Frenchman.
A report from AS has indicated that Barca is not willing to let the player they got for around £135m from Dortmund leave for free since he has not replicated that kind of fee due to the constant injuries that have befallen him during his stay at Camp Nou.
There have been other reports that United is willing to offer a cut-price this summer if the player and Barca cant agree on a deal with Dembele said to be keen on being one of the club’s highest earners if he is to ink the new deal.
Still 23, the player has a lot to offer as proven every time he has been fit with manager Ronald Koeman keen on having the player fit in their Laliga title run-in.
