Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has released a statement following the collapse of the European Super League on Tuesday night.
Maguire is said to have been one of the United players, together with Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes to tell the club officials off about their sentiments about the league.
The move by the trio forced the club to make a statement saying: "We have listened carefully to the reaction from our fans, the UK government, and other key stakeholders.
"We remain committed to working with others across the football community to come up with sustainable solutions to the long-term challenges facing the game.”
Taking to social media Maguire uploaded a picture from United's famous Premier League title celebrations back in 2013, along with the caption: 'Let's all stay UNITED' followed by red, white and black emojis.
