Villarreal vs Arsenal team news: Ødegaard, Pepe start, Aubameyang on the bench

Premier League side Arsenal travel to Estadio de la Ceramica to face Villarreal in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final. 

It will be the first match when Arteta, leading Arsenal will face the former Gunners coach Unai Emery who joined Villarreal after his axing. 

Arteta has made a single change to the team that lost 1-0 to Everton on Friday. Martin Odegaard is back in the XI, with Eddie Nketiah dropping to the bench.

Nicolas Pepe will lead the line for Arsenal, with captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fit to take a place on the bench after recovering from malaria. David Luiz also passes his fitness test, but Alexandre Lacazette and Kieran Tierney do not make the matchday squad.
