Dutch international Memphis Depay has been spotted house-hunting in Barcelona.
Depay has strongly been linked with a move to the Laliga with his contract with Lille set to be over in the summer; Ronald Koeman having admitted at the start of the season that he was interested in acquiring the services of the player.
Mundo Deportivo now claims that the former Manchester United man has been in Barcelona to look for a house as he angles to move to the Catalan come next season.
According to the reports, the player was in Barca last Wednesday was alongside family and friends. He was seen checking out homes in high-end spots, especially near the Pedralbes area. He then returned to Lyon by plane from El Prat airport with the utmost discretion according to the reports.
There are claims that the player’s agent had a negotiation meeting with Barca’s director of football Mateu Alemany and had agreed on terms with the previous board only for things to change due to Barcelona’s financial situation.
Apart from Barca, there have been reports that Juventus, Inter, and Atletico Madrid are all interested in the player with the Spanish giants forced to move fast to secure the services of the player.
