Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has signed a contract extension with Ligue 1 side until the summer of 2025.
Neymar had hinted at staying at PSG after he called the club 'home' last month. The Brazilian signed for the Lige 1 giants from Barcelona for a transfer record of £200 million. Since then, the 29-year-old has been linked to a move back to Spain but this new contract puts those rumors to bed.
"I’m really pleased to continue my adventure at Paris Saint-Germain," the Brazilian said.
"I’m very happy in Paris, and proud to be part of this squad, to work with these players, a great coach, and to be part of the history of this club."
"These are things that make me believe even more in this great project. I have grown as a person here, as a human being, and as a player, too. So I am very happy to extend my contract and I hope to win many more trophies here."
The 29-year-old has won three league titles and two French Cups.
