Man United secure 2021/22 Champions League qualification

With four games left in the Premier League season, Everton's win over West Ham United ensures Manchester United's Champions League qualification for the 2021/22 season.

Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood, and Edinson Cavani scored for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side as they came from behind to defeat Aston Villa away from home on Sunday afternoon.

Everton's victory a few hours later, courtesy of a Dominic Calvert-Lewin goal, ensures United's top-four finish in the Premier League this season.

There's still a lot to play for, however.

United have a chance to win a trophy this season after defeating Roma in the Europa League semi-finals last week. Solskjaer will begin making arrangements for his side's match against Villarreal on May 26 in Gdansk, Poland.

Winning the Europa League will also guarantee a spot among the top seeds in the Champions League next season.

Before league leaders Manchester City play again, United have two more opportunities to place pressure on their local rivals, who had hoped to clinch the title this weekend.
