Arsenal could undergo a lot of changes this summer as a result of a disappointing Premier League season.
Arsenal's staff expects a number of existing regulars to leave the club this summer, according to The Athletic.
One of them is David Luiz, whose contract is up at the end of the season.
According to the article, Héctor Bellern, Bernd Leno, and Granit Xhaka (all of whom have contracts until 2022) have all given the impression that they want to leave, as has Willian, who joined on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer.
All five have appeared on a regular basis this season, and losing them all will force Arsenal to embark on a major rebuilding project.
“There are so many things to do because we already have a lot of players on loan and a lot of players with contracts still that we need to sort,” Mikel Arteta told reporters during Tuesday's press conference ahead of Arsenal's clash with Chelsea.
"It will depend on what happens with a lot of those players and what we are able to recruit to improve the team, that is going to determine where we are.”
