Aaron Ramsey opens up on his Juventus future

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey admits he has had a frustrating 'couple of years' at Allianz Stadium says he is committed to the club.

Ramsey joined Juventus from Arsenal as a free agent in 2019 but is yet to make an impact, making to start just 13 games this season. The Wales international has been linked with a move away from Juventus but says he is not planning on leaving.

"It's obviously been a very frustrating period for me over the past couple of years picking up several niggling injuries," the midfielder told Sky Sports.

"When you go to a new club, you want to hit the ground running, to show everyone what you're capable of doing consistently. Injuries that set you back a couple of weeks prevent you from generating any rhythm. Covid hasn't helped."

When asked if he will be returning to Turin after the Euros, Ramsey added: "Yes, I'm a Juventus player."

The 30-year-old's contract with Juventus is set to expire in the summer of 2023.
