Hazard backed to stay at Real Madrid with Belgium teammate

Eden Hazard has been backed to stay at real Madrid by Belgium teammate Thibaut Courtois.

Hazard's career at Madrid has been hampered by injuries and with Zinedine Zidane having been replaced by Carlo Ancelotti, there are fears that the Belgian might consider his future but according to Courtois, his countrymate have no intention of leaving the Laliga giants.

“I’m 100% sure he’s staying. He doesn’t want to move. Only the Madrid press writes about the desire to leave. He wants to continue, play free of injuries and win titles. At Real Madrid, there is criticism all the time and for everyone.  Bale was criticized, but he has won the Champions League and scored a double in the final in Kyiv.

“In Lisbon, he against me in the final. We that in Madrid there is pressure and criticism from the press and the fans. But Eden can handle that. I know him well enough to be able to say that. He can still change everything,” the goalkeeper told Le Soit, as reported via Marca.

Hazard moved to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 from Chelsea on a £100m fee but has not replicated the outing he had for the blues in the Spanish capital.

There were reports last week that the Belgian is attracting interest from Paris Saint Germain with Ancelotti willing to offload him if he cants prove his fitness in the preseason.
