FC Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele has confirmed a closeness to the great Lionel Messi.
Dembele joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund several seasons ago to become one of the best talents at the Catalan giants, but injuries have shown the Frenchman the worst fortune.
But how has he experienced playing with the greatest player in the sport?
"We get along very well," he told L'Equipe, as cited by Soccer Laduma.
"I'm next to him in the dressing room, and he's a good captain and man.
"Messi is an open player and talks a lot, from day one we've been doing well. Messi tells me that I have to provoke the opponent, shoot and dribble.
The winger also took the moment to comment on his uncertain future, and ahead of his contract end in 2022.
"I don't know, we'll see.
"We will meet with the management. I'm not in a hurry and neither are they. I'm totally focused on Euro 2020, then I'll go on holiday,” Dembele concluded.
