Laliga giants Real Madrid is waiting for a response from defender Raphael Varane after they offered him new terms.
The player is entering his final year at Madrid but is yet to sign a new deal and is currently being linked with a move to Manchester United who is said to be ready to offer £45m for the Frenchman.
According to reports from Marca, Los Blancos has already submitted a final package to the 28-year-old but they are yet to receive a response from his representatives with the player having said last week that he won't discuss his future until after Euros.
The player is said to be open to a possible exit but new boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to keep him with the future of Sergio Ramos still uncertain too. The Italian doesn’t want to lose the players in one window and would do everything to keep Varane for another season with the hope that his future will be resolved as the season progresses.
Ramos’s contract expires at the end of this month but a deal hasn’t been agreed yet with the player said to be keen on exploring new leagues with the MLS and Premier League said to be his next possible destination.
