The world's greatest national football team Brazil has announced its squad for the 2021 COPA America tournament.
The biggest omission of the selected list is central midfielder Arthur Melo, who endured an unsuccessful season with Juventus in Serie A. Other stars that have been overlooked are the Arsenal duo of David Luiz and Willian, as well as Leeds attacker Raphinha.
Additionally, veteran right back, Dani Alves is missing out through injury.
The 24-man squad, which was named by coach Tite on Wednesday, will begin the tournament against Venezuela in the opener in Brazil in Sunday.
