Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum on a free transfer from Liverpool.
Wijnaldum will sign for PSG on a three-year deal after the Ligue 1 side announced his signature on Thursday. The Dutchman was linked with a move to Barcelona but PSG have won the race for the highly-rated midfielder made 237 appearances and scored 22 goals for Liverpool in all competitions.
"Signing for PSG is a new challenge for me," Wijnaldum told the club's website.
"I'm joining one of the best squads in Europe and I want to bring all my desire and commitment to this ambitious project."

The 30-year-old has won the Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup titles with Liverpool.
