Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has revealed he came up as a kid supporting the mighty Chelsea.
The Manchester United-linked star took some time out during camp with the England side to chat about the players that inspired him as a young boy in England watching the Premier League.
Sancho revealed that he idolized Frank Lampard and as well as Diedier Drogba, and naturally became a Chelsea fan while at it.
“I’d probably say Frank Lampard. I was a Chelsea fan growing up, I can’t lie!" Sancho said to TalkSport via Goal.
“Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard were my favourite players at the time.
“I just love Frank Lampard and how he played his game; he was so direct and so composed on the ball.
“I like things like that," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Sancho is expected to start in attack when the Three Lions start Euro 2020 against Croatia this weekend.
