Manchester United is set to part ways with defender Axel Tuanzebe this summer as the Englishman looks for more playing time.
There are talks that United is in the market for a new center back with Tuanzebe not in the picture for the upcoming season following a new deal for Eric Baily too.
According to journalist Jonathan Shrager, the player is likely to leave United on a season-long loan next season with clubs in and outside England interested in having the 23-year-old within their ranks.
Tuanzebe was once a highly rated prospect but injuries haven't helped his course but at 23, the club feels that he might have the last chance to impress albeit on another club before they can decide on selling him permanently.
The player has previously admitted that he wants to play every week something that he can't be guaranteed at United.
“Being 23 now, I want to be playing week in, week out. I’ve had a taste of it, being at [Aston] Villa [on loan]. I enjoyed it. That’s something I wanted to replicate here. I haven’t had the run of games that I’ve hoped for, but, next season, I’ll definitely be playing football,” Tuanzebe told the club's website previously.
Aston Villa is one of the clubs said to be interested in the player even though he can do with the newly promoted clubs in the league.
