Bandari FC thrashed Kariobangi Sharks 4-1 in an FKF Premier League game staged at Mbaraki Stadium on Friday evening.
Bandari got the opener in the 19th minute through Umar Kasumba who scored from a diving header, and past Obiero Brandon.
After the water break, Bandari returned with intention of extending their lead, Kasumba had the ball again, went past Sharks defender before looking for Ndemi Keegan who was brought down, and the referee pointed for a spot.
William Wadri stepped up, against Brandon, he tricked the goalkeeper, sending him the wrong way to double Bandari's lead.
Immediately after the restart of the second half, Sharks were awarded a penalty and Erick Kapaito made no mistake, beating Ndikumana from 12 yards to reduce the deficit for the visitors.
In the 54th minute, Bandari restored their two-goal lead through Benjamin Mosha. Patilla Omoto had a miss pass with Mosha capitalizing on it to slot home.
Mosha then grabbed his second of the game following a searching cross from Darius Msagha and he headed past Brandon.
Sofapaka 0-0 Ulinzi
At Utalii Grounds, Sofapaka FC dropped more points as they were held to a goalless draw by Ulinzi Stars settled for a goalless draw
Six minutes of play, Sofapaka had a chance to open the scoring, Nixon Omondi had the ball on the wing, delivered a searching pass to Lawrence Juma inside the box, but was penalized for fouling John Kago.
Minutes later, Juma unleashed a long-range pass and was picked up by Sifuna who delivered the ball inside the danger zine for Bizimana but his effort went wide.
Ulinzi Stars responded well through Masita Masuta who made a good run into the penalty area looking for Shambi but Kelvin Omondi was in the right place to intercept.
