English Premier League's North London giants Tottenham Hotspur are expected to offer an improved bid for Bologna's Takehiro Tomiyasu.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs tabled £16 million for the 22-year-old Japanese central defender, but the Italian club wants a few more millions.
"Tottenham have seen a £16 million ($22m) bid for Bologna defender Takehiro Tomiyasu rejected - according to Sky Sports," Goal wrote.
"The Italian club are holding out for a £20m ($27m) fee for the Japan international, with talks between the two clubs still ongoing," the outlet added.
The publication concluded to confirm that Tomiyasu, who delivered 32 league games in Serie A last season, has three more years left on his contract with Bologna.
