English Premier League giants Liverpool are seriously considering signing Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid, if reports are fully true.
The Reds are believed to be on the brink of tabling €40 million for the 26-year-old Spanish midfielder, who will serve as Gini Wijnaldum's replacement.
"Liverpool are, according to AS, ready to make a €40 million (£34m/$47m) bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez," Goal reported.
"The Reds are looking to bring in a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who has left Anfield for Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent," the outlet concluded.
Meanwhile, the 2020 Euro final is coming this weekend as England takes on Italy in London.
