πŸ… Almoez Ali becomes first player to score in three different continental championships

Almoez Ali, Qatar's main man, has inked his name in the history books by becoming the first player ever to score in three different continental championships.

The striker was on target in Qatar's 3-3 draw against Panama in their opening Concacaf Gold Cup clash of Group D.

The 24-year-old was the top scorer of the 2019 Asian Cup with nine goals, a record in the Asian championship, beating one set by Iranian Ali Daei.

The Al Duhail striker also scored during a Copa America match against Paraguay in 2019.

He has played 70 international matches and scored 30 goals for Qatar team, and is expected to lead the side in next year's World Cup, which they have already qualified for by virtue of being hosts.
