Manchester United stepped up their pre-season on Sunday afternoon as 24 players got their first minutes of the summer in a friendly against Derby County.
The Reds have been in training for the last couple of days under coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the likes of Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic, Mason Greenwood, and Juan Mata all involved.
Tahith Chong opened the scores for the boys in red in the 17th minute, before Solskjaer made nine changes for the second half.
Facundo Pellistri then extended United's lead on the hour-mark, before Colin Kazim-Richards halved the deficit in the 70th minute.
It proved to be a consolation for the Rams, who are under the tutelage of former Man United star Wayne Rooney.
Lingard could have scored a wonderful goal late on, but his ferocious shot from the edge of the box cannoned off the crossbar.
A good number of the club's stars, who were involved in the EURO 2020 tournament are still enjoying their extended holiday, but are expected back soon.
Next up for United is a match against QPR.
