Western Stima held on to beat AFC Leopards in a thriller staged at Nakuru ASK Grounds.
AFC Leopards conceded just after 13 minutes of play after a poor communication at the back that saw Michael Karamor capitalize before putting the ball into the back of the net past John Oyemba.
Two minutes later, the hosts were running away with this, grabbing their second from the spot. Robert Mudenyu handled the ball inside the danger zone and it was coolly converted.
Three minutes to stoppage time, Leopards pulled one back through Collins Shivachi. The game was on with the clock ticking but Geoffrey Ojunga restored Stima's two-goal lead immediately after Shivachi's goal.
Ingwe didn't give up and continued to chase for a goal and finally reduced the deficit to one once again through Bonface Mukhekhe.
However, it was late for Leopards and Stima held on to beat Ingwe 3-2.
That marks the second consecutive defeat for Leopards who are third on the log with 43 points.
