Bologna are not in rush to sell defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, says the club's sporting director Riccardo Bigon.
Tottenham are reported interested in signing Tomiyasu this summer, who is currently on international duty at the Olympics. Spurs' initial offer was knocked back by Bologna and now Bigo has warned the north London club they are in no rush to sell their defender.
"When the Premier League comes knocking, it's clearly very tough for a player to be indifferent to it. We want to wait until the conditions are favourable both for us and for the player," Bigon told Sky in Italy.
"At least three Serie A clubs have made moves and inquired about him, and now they are monitoring the situation to understand what will happen. The player is at the Olympics at the moment, so there's no rush to close any deal."
The 22-year-old's contract with Bologna is set to expire in the summer of 2024.
