According to reports, Everton are interested in signing Manchester United's Jesse Lingard.
During a loan stay with West Ham United in the second part of 2020-21, Lingard reinvigorated his career, scoring and assisting 13 goals in 16 appearances.
The Hammers want to lure the England international back to the London Stadium this season, but according to The Sun, David Moyes is up against competition from his previous club.
Everton are thought to be aiming to reinforce their wide areas after signing free agent Andros Townsend, and new manager Rafael Benitez sees Lingard as a good fit.
However, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told reporters last weekend that the 28-year-old is now part of his plans for the 2021-22 season.
