🚨 Liverpool winger Harry Wilson joins Fulham

Liverpool winger Harry Wilson has completed his move to English Championship side Fulham FC.

In a statement, Liverpool said: "Harry Wilson has today completed a transfer to Fulham, bidding farewell to Liverpool after almost 16 years with the club.

"The Wales international’s switch to the Championship side sees him embark on a new chapter in his career, having joined the Reds at U9 level and progressed through the ranks at the Academy."

Wilson achieved a senior debut for his country aged 16 in 2013 and later captained Liverpool U23s and made his first-team debut for the Reds came as a substitute in the FA Cup tie with Plymouth Argyle in January 2017.

With competition stiff at the club, he was to be loaned to Hull City and then Derby County where he racked up 23 goals in the Championship and subsequently spent the 2019-20 seasons with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Having returned to Liverpool, he played his second senior match under Jürgen Klopp with a start against Arsenal in the League Cup last October but departed on loan again, heading back to his native Wales to link up with Cardiff City where he scored seven more goals.

The transfer fee to Fulham is reported to be around £12m with the player having been linked with a move to Benfica too.
