Manchester City is close to completing a deal for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Kane future at Spurs has been a subject of speculation since lasts season when he claimed that he would consider his future at Tottenham due to their lack of trophies.
The player has strongly been linked with the Pep Guardiola side who are looking for a striker following the departure of Sergio Aguero and according to Don Balon, a move could be edging closer as an agreement is close on a transfer that would cost around £162million.
While Daniel Levy wants to keep the England captain at the club, a deal worth £160m would be hard to turn down owing to their financial status with the player said to be happy with how things have developed.
Kane is yet to win any silverware with Spurs in his entire career so far and feels that his goals and all-around performance would bear fruits in a club like City who will be all out to defend the league title next season.
Apart from the league, City narrowly lost the Champions League final to Chelsea last season with Pep Guardiola keen to win the European competition with City before he can call it a day.
