Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted as to when new signing Jadon Sancho will be making his debut for the club.
After a two-year chase, United finally landed Sancho for a £72million deal from Borussia Dortmund with the club fans highly hopeful on their new acquisition.
But the player has been given an extended period out by United following his involvement with England in Euro 2020. He alongside Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, and Marcus Rashford, as well as Brazilian midfielder Fred, are due to return to the club's training base in the first week of August.
“The English players and Fred, the ones who played Euros and Copa America and went all the way to the finals, needed a break as well, they're back with us in about 10 days' time," Solskjaer revealed.
The confirmation means that Sancho will miss the club's preseason game against Brentford on 28 July and Preston North End three days later but should be available for selection for any game by the club after 3 August.
