Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole believes Jesse Lingard has a new aura and energy that will activate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team.
The attacking midfielder is back at Old Trafford after a stellar loan spell in London with West Ham, where he delivered nine goals and five assists in 16 appearances.
“Jesse has impressed me,” Cole said after Lingard's appearance against QPR last weekend, as quoted by Man United's media.
“I think Jesse has come back with that bit between his teeth. He has got the goal, but it is not just about the goal - it is his work rate as well.
“I think his work rate can become infectious. He is putting himself about, getting in the right areas - and getting himself a goal as well," Cole concluded.
Up next for the Red Devils is Brentford at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
