UPL Transfers: Brian Majwega returns to KCCA, Sserwadda departs

KCCA have confirmed Steven Sserwadda has left the club and joined New York Red Bulls on an undisclosed permanent transfer. 

Steven signed for KCCA Soccer Academy in 2015 and has achieved so much with the Kasasiro Boys including, 1 Cecafa Clubs Cup, 1 Uganda Premier League, 2 Super Cups, a Super 8 cup, and CAF (Continental) football.

"We here by confirm that we have finalized an agreement for the transfer of Steven Sserwadda to New York Red Bulls on an undisclosed permanent transfer," a statement from KCCA read. 

New York Red Bulls is an American Professional Soccer Club based in the New York metropolitan area. The Red Bulls compete in Major League Soccer as a member of the Eastern Province

Sserwadda is currently a player with the U20 and U23 Uganda National Football Teams. KCCA FC will have a 10% fee on any forward transfer of Sserwadda outside the Major League Soccer.

Meanwhile, Brian Majwega has returned to KCCA on a two-year deal. 

Majwega who left KCCA FC in 2017, returns for his third stint at the club.  He previously played for KCCA FC in 2009 – 2013 and 2015 – 2017.

He has previously featured for Azam (Tanzania), Simba (Tanzania), Atraco (Rwanda), Maroons (Uganda), URA (Uganda)
