Manchester United's manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed VISA and Covid 19 processes are the reason for Raphael Varane's delay from landing in Manchester.
As Futaa reported this week, the 28-year-old French has been signed from Real Madrid for around £41m, subject to a medical test.
While the towering central defender remains in the Spanish capital, United's manager Solskjaer has offered reasons for the hold-up.
“The club is working on the quickest possible solution to get everything sorted. Of course, there is a visa coming into England, with Brexit and quarantining," Ole said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
"Everything has to be done as quick as possible, but by the book," he concluded.
For now, the Red Devils are preparing for the club's fourth preseason friendly against lower division side Preston North End on Saturday.
