Arsenal are ready to re-sign midfielder Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid.
According to a report from Marca, manager Mikel Arteta has opened the door for Odegaard's return as he feels he will be an important player in the team.
The 22-year-old was a real success during a loan spell with the Gunners last season but returned to his parent club this summer where he is currently with them in the preseason.
Marca reckon that Madrid are prepared to move the attacking midfielder on this summer, so a return to north London could be on the cards but according to The Athletic, Madrid want around £53m for Odegaard.
