Manchester City will have to sell some of their star players before making a move for Harry Kane.
Kane has strongly been linked with a move to the Etihad but with reports rife that City has made a bid for Jack Grealish too, they wouldn't have soo much money to spend on the two players in one window.
The Manchester Evening News says City manager Pep Guardiola is keen on the England captain but Daniel Levy is refusing to let him go for less than £160m.
Of the players who have been linked with a move away from the club include Raheem Sterling and Bernando Silva; the latter linked with a move to Spain while Sterling is said to be attracting interest from both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Riyad Mahrez was also said to be a target of Gunners this summer and has interested Real Madrid but no concrete offer is in place for the Algerian.
