AC Milan are eyeing up a loan move for Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Ramsey has strongly been linked with a move away from Juve this summer as he seeks more game time with other tabloids reporting that he is keen on returning to England.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Old Lady is looking to thin down their squad and reduce the burden on their wage budget especially if they want to bring Miralem Pjanic back to the club.
The player is keen to return to Juve after a difficult spell at Barcelona and according to the reports, Ramsey will be allowed to leave if that happens.
The economics of the deal is however intriguing, as Ramsey’s contract allowed him to take a salary bump from 2021 onwards and he’s earning €12 million a season and if not for the tax reductions, he could’ve been earning €16 million a season.
A salary arrangement between the two clubs could see them pay 50 percent of the €12 million wages and this will make it a ‘low cost’ purchase.
