Tusker FC opened a three-point lead at the top of the table following a 2-0 victory over Kakamega Homeboyz in a Kenyan Premier League match staged at Ruaraka Complex.
The Brewers had the ball into the back of the net and it was simply an own goal. Tusker had a free at the edge of the box, Aloro stepped up to deliver, Meja flicked the ball but Francis Omondi put to the net for the opener.
Just before halftime, Tusker doubled their lead through Mike Madoya. Rodgers Aloro delivered a beautiful cross into the box, Madoya rose high to head past Juma.
Tusker have now opened a three-point lead and now are at 61 with KCB coming second with 58.

Vihiga United 2-1 KCB
KCB were left hurt in the chase for the Kenyan Premier League title following a 2-1 loss to Vihiga United in a match played at Mumias.
KCB took an early lead in the 14th minute through Samuel Mwangi and the visitors were in total control of the match.
Vihiga United made an immediate response and were level just after three minutes. In the 34th minute, United completed their comeback, netting the second, a goal that was enough to deny KCB three points.
