Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau has left Brighton & Hove Albion for Africa's greatest ever club Al Ahly of Egypt.
As Futaa reported in early August, Ahly agreed on terms to sign the 27-year-old forward after struggling to claim a regular playing place in the Seagulls' Premier League side.
The 48-time Egyptian champions and 10-time CAF Champions League winners made the announcement on social media on Thursday.
Tau arrives in Cairo after managing only just six appearances that included one assist for Brighton in the 2020/21 season.
The Witbank-born star was signed by the Seagulls in 2018 for R50m after shining under Ahly's current coach Pitso Mosimane at Mamelodi Sundowns.
After narrowly losing the Egyptian title to rivals Zamalek last weekend, Ahly and Tau are now looking forward to competing in the FIFA Club World Cup in December after becoming African champions in June.
