Arsenal left-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles is set to stay with the club following clear-the-air talks with head coach Mikel Arteta.
Niles was linked with a move to Everton but Arsenal blocked the loan move. The defender took it on social media and posted making it clear he wanted to leave the Gunners.
"All I wanna do is go where I’m wanted and where I’m gonna play," the defender wrote.
However, his decision to hit out on the club angered the Gunners, and was forced to stay away from Tuesday's training ground.
The post saw Maitland-Niles summoned to London Colney on Tuesday for face-to-face talks with Arteta over the situation.
After talks, the player will now stay and will be given playing time as he would be part of Arteta's plans going forward.
The 24-year-old has featured for just 19 minutes in the Premier League so far this season.
