♻️ Five transfers into major clubs that you might have missed

We all know about the absolute madness that went down across Europe last month in a frenetic and unforgettable transfer window.

Messi moved to PSG, who also signed Euro 2020's Player of the Tournament for free, Ronaldo almost moved to City after eventually returning to Old Trafford, Jack Grealish became the first British player to command €100m and Romelu Lukaku's back at Chelsea.

The list goes on.

Just look at the guys who moved clubs for free!

But what about a few guys that aren't global household superstar names? Here are five top talents that have made moves in the last few weeks.

🇧🇷 Kaio Jorge

Santos ✈️ Juventus (€1.5m, rising to €4m)

19-year-old Brazilian striker Kaio Jorge hasn't been prolific in terms of goal output for Santos, but he's so much more than just a goal-scorer. His intelligence, relentless work ethic and smart off-the-ball movement make him a teammate's dream and he's only getting better. He's a willing presser and selflessly runs the channels, often opting to combine and link up with teammates as he expertly protects the ball with his back to goal. Definitely, one to watch in the 2021-22 Serie A season.

🇳🇱 Mo Ihattaren

PSV ✈️ Juventus, loaned to Sampdoria (€5.5m)

The ex-PSV playmaker is blessed with a silky touch, vision and superb decision-making skills and is one of the finest Dutch talents emerging in an exciting new generation for the Orange. A classic number 10 who's worn the number 10 jersey, Ihattaren has been criticized for being a little unpredictable and having a questionable temperament. Maybe a change of scenery will produce a change of fortunes for an undoubtedly gifted player who's hit an early crossroads in his career. Let's not forget he's still just 19.

🇦🇹 Yusuf Demir

Rapid Wien ✈️ Barcelona (Loan)

This one came out of left-field. 18-year-old Yusuf Demir has joined the Catalan giants on loan for the 2021-22 season and will wear the number 11 jersey at the iconic Nou Camp. With Ansu Fati (another 18-year-old) donning the number 10 jersey vacated by Leo Messi, there's a youthful feel about the new Barça this term.

🇦🇹 Marcel Sabitzer

RB Leipzig ✈️ Bayern (€15m)

Marcel Sabitzer is hardly a lesser-known talent, and Bayern must feel as though they've won the lottery with this signing. Just €15m has landed them RB Leipzig's captain and creative fulcrum and added considerably to their midfield depth. Now 27, midfield magician Sabitzer is at the peak of his powers and will add a new dimension to Bayern's attacking sequences. The Austrian possesses a genuine X-factor and can change the course of a game in an instant with his disruptive style.

🇵🇹 Nuno Mendes

Sporting Lisbon ✈️ PSG (€7m loan)

One area where PSG might have felt that they needed to strengthen was at left-back, and Mendes is the hottest young prospect in the world in that position. They've parted with a substantial loan fee on a player who went on record saying "I am not an elite player but I am working hard for that."

It's that humility that has helped him enjoy a breakthrough season last time out in Portugal, earning his first call-up to the national team at Euro 2020. Mendes might end up being very wrong in his own assessment of his capabilities.
