🏦 Five bets to place in Europe’s top five leagues this weekend

The international break is over and that means we can sink our teeth into domestic league action across Europe this weekend.

There's only one place to start, and that's Old Trafford, where a high-scoring encounter between Man United and Newcastle is the first of five bets we're placing on betPawa

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Man United vs Newcastle

Man United's 1-0 win at Wolves means that they've now gone 28 matches without defeat on the road in the Premier League, an all-time record. They're back at Old Trafford here though, against a Magpies team that has already conceded eight goals in three outings this term. We could also be in for a treat, with Cristiano Ronaldo set to make his second United debut.

💶 Our pick: Over 3.5 goals

🇫🇷 PSG vs Clermont

PSG comes into this clash in great form but they might be without as many a six heavy-hitters. Angel Di Maria, Leo Messi and Leandro Paredes were in action for Argentina in the early hours of Friday morning while Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are also major doubts. Visitors Clermont has started life in Ligue 1 in brilliant fashion, still unbeaten after four rounds (W2, D2) and third in the standings in their debut season. To emphasise how impressive their performance truly is, Clermont is the first team to remain unbeaten in their very first four top-flight games since Guingamp in 1995-96. Each of PSG’s opening four L1 games has witnessed the opener netted within 25 minutes so early action is on the cards here.

💶 Our pick: BTTS

🇩🇪 RB Leipzig vs Bayern

After pipping Leipzig to the title last season, Bayern has taken some of their rivals' most valuable assets, including manager Julian Nagelsmann. Another tight affair between Germany's top two sides is on the cards, considering that three of the last four meetings have ended all square. Dominik Szoboszlai has scored three times for Leipzig already this term and Bayern goal-machine Robert Lewandowski has struck seven times in four appearances this term already. Across ten previous Bundesliga H2Hs, this fixture has averaged 4.1 cards - including four reds, so that's another worthy market to keep an eye on this Saturday.

💶 Our pick: Draw

🇮🇹 Milan vs Lazio

Sunday evening sees a titanic clash in Serie A as Lazio travels to San Siro where they'll face off against Milan. The visitors have been in great form during Maurizio Sarri's first two games in charge, beating Empoli 3-1 on opening day before running out 6-1 winners against Spezia. Milan has also collected six points from their two games, but the main concern will be manager Pioli's poor H2H record against his opposite number; he has won just four of his 13 meetings with Sarri. Clean sheets don't look likely here but a Lazio win does.

💶 Our pick: Lazio win BTTS

🇪🇸 Real Madrid v Celta Vigo

After further strengthening on deadline day with the signing of Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes, Real Madrid has what should be a comfortable game against a Celta side on paper. This is a Los Blancos side that has scored at least twice in each of their last 10 meetings and 30 in total in that sequence against these opponents. The league leaders have scored more goals than anyone else in the division so far this season, and have a chance to mount some pressure on Sevilla and Barcelona in a week where their top four rivals' games have been postponed.

💶 Our pick: Real Madrid to score over 2.5 goals

In case you missed it, check out our preview to a potential second debut for Cristiano Ronaldo.
